The Corridor Cities Transitway is a proposed 9-mile bus rapid transit (BRT) system between Rockville and Gaithers- burg in Montgomery County, Maryland. The design of the CCT station architecure began with a 2,700 SF prototype, which would be applied to and adjusted at each station.

This station canopy prototype is designed with an emphasis on the layering of architectural components and amenities. Iterations additionally demonstrated the potential for variety in material treatment ranging from high-performance structure to durable masonry and traditional finish materials.
